Hideto NAGATSUKA
Most of the motifs in Hideto NAGATSUKA's photographs are landscapes, in which viewers attempt to capture information about the actual site.

However NAGATSUKA precisely controls perspectives to create unreality, richness of colour balance and calmness so that nobody would recognize the site. ...Unrealistic pure landscape though it is a certain reality.

NAGATSUKA's aesthetical photographs question the existance of visuality and make serious approaches to exploring the potentiality of photographic images.
